Zines Zines Zines! Q&A with Zine Artist Kitiya Palaskas

Ok, so paper is definitely something The Fox Trail Girls love! So I decided to make my way down to The Paper Mill in Sydney CBD to check out a little bit more about "zines". What's a zine you may ask? Well, say you like mushrooms, not the ugly brown ones, but the cute red button ones that pop up in every fairytale and you decided to make a small over obsessive publication about them using any photo you can find, some copy paper and a Xerox machine. That's a zine. However, you do find a lot more effort goes into something you truly admire, and that is what Kitiya Palaskas shared with us tonight. Kit was lovely enough to show us her recent as well as very first projects, amongst a bunch of mock-ups. It has really inspired me and has kept me up to the late hours of the night thinking about what I would like to do a zine about.
